Bubble Talk

Hi Friends,

Thanks so much for popping by. Today I would like to share a card I made for the current
Addicted to CAS Challenge. When I saw the theme was bubbles I knew exactly what stamp set I wanted to use.  I have had this adorable WPlus9 set for ages but have never managed to ink it up, so this was the perfect opportunity.

Here is what I came up with. This is as CAS as I could do!

Supplies:
WPlus9 Clear Stamps - Bubble Talk
WPlus9 Designer Dies - Bubble Talk
MFT Stamps - Circle Scribbles Background
MFT Die-namics - Stitched Rectangle Stax Set 1
Generic Grey and Green Cardstock
Stampendous Embossing Powder - White
Tsukineko Stamp Pad - VersaMark

James the Bear and Christmas Ribbon

Hi friends,

Thanks for popping by.  I have another Christmas card to share with you today and it is nothing like what I envisioned when I started!  I wanted to play along with the Merry Monday Challenge - Add a Ribbon but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do! Initially I thought maybe I'll make a card without a stamped image (big challenge for me!) and had thought of purple and silver! I sat at my desk for over an hour, while bubs was having her nap, and nothing came to me so I gave up.  Then when she went to bed for the night I started going through some old stamped and coloured images and found this one. Poor James the Bear has been sitting in a folder for years...I'm not sure how many..three at least! I thought it was about time is was put on a card. I knew I had quite a stash of green and red ribbon so thought I would give the challenge a go.

Here is what I came up with.

Supplies:
LOTV Rubber Stamp - James the Bear Pile of Presents
MFT Stamps - Gift Tag Greetings
PaperTrey Ink  Impression Plate - Linen and Canvas
Ribbon Girl - Olive Green Teeny Tiny Pom Pom Trim
Ribbon Girl - 16mm Red Saddlestitch  Ribbon
Ranger Stickles - Diamond
Ranger Enamel Accents - Black

It was good to use up some of my ribbon.  I bought a tonne of it years ago for cards and then wasn't sure how to use it and decided it wasn't really my thing! I'm actually surprised I managed to find the name/type of ribbon I used on this card, it's so old.

The stamp I used is no longer available in rubber but I checked the website and it can purchase it as a digi stamp now :)

Birthday Bunny

Hi there,

Yippee, I have managed to make another card. Here's hoping I can keep this up until bubs number 2 arrives in 11 weeks. It is so good to be creating again.

I was browsing the challenge sites for some inspiration and really wanted to play along with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge as the theme was bunnies and I love critters, and missed out on making any Easter cards.

I coloured in a really cute digital image from Just Me Digital Stamps, but then was completely stumped when it came to putting a card together.  I am really struggling with card layouts as my crafting mojo is taking its time coming back.  So of I went to look for more inspiration and then I saw the sketch by Karren at Freshly Made Sketches.  Perfect for me - clean and simple.

Here is my card, I hope you like it.

Supplies:
Just Me Digital Stamps - Hoppy Happy Easter Bunny
MFT Stamps - More Essential Sentiments
Simon Says Stamp Cardstock - Smoke
American Crafts Amy Tangerine Paper Pad - Sketchbook
MFT Die-namics - Blueprints 24
MFT Die-namics - Slanted Sentiment Strips
MFT Die-namics - Oval Shadows
Pretty Pink Posh Sequins - Summer Mix 4mm

Birthday Singing Sweeties

Hi,

Thanks for popping by. I have a sweet and simple birthday card to share with you today. I decided to keep my card very simple and try and get back into my colouring after my crafting hiatus (see my last post). I did enjoy colouring this super cute image in, even though it felt like I had completely forgotten how to colour!

SUPPLIES:
Isabel Cristina Digital Stamps - Singing Sweeties
Winnie and Walter Stamps - The Big, The Bold and The Party
MFT Die-namics - Stitched Dome Stax
MFT Die-namics - Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips
MFT 6x6 Paper Pad -  Polka Dots Pastel
 Neenah Cardstock - Desert Storm

This gorgeous digital stamp is from Isabel Cristina Stamps, and comes in three formats - with birthday hats, winter caroling outfits and plain.

I coloured the image in with my copics and die cut it with a stitched dome die from MFT.  The sentiment is make up with words from the Winnie and Walter clear stamp set and cut out using a fishtail sentiment strip.
